To keep our work organized and teams productive, we adopted techniques used in the real world of software developement, scrum boards and standups. These techniques empowered students to take control of their own workflow.

The marjority of students worked in teams of 2 or 3 students. At the start of every class, groups met for a two minute standup, where each team member answered three questions: what did I do yesterday, what is my goal for today, and what obstacles do I need to be removed?

Simple scrum boards were used for each project which kept track of To Do tasks, In Process tasks, and Done Tasks. This helped keep everyone organized and provided a snapshot view of project status. Post-its were moved across scrum boards as tasks were completed.
